Software that fits your business — not the other way around
Off-the-shelf software is built for the average business. If your business isn't average — if it has specific workflows, pricing rules, customer structures, or operational requirements that no existing tool handles correctly — you're either working around the software or maintaining a collection of spreadsheets that no-one fully understands. Yuvati builds the thing that actually fits.
What we build
Purpose-built web applications for South African SMEs — from internal tools to customer-facing systems.
Custom-built systems for your specific workflow — quoting, job management, client portals, or anything your team currently manages in spreadsheets. Browser-based, no installation required.
Replace manual processes with purpose-built web tools your team can use without training. Job cards, scheduling boards, stock checkers, pricing calculators — built exactly as your team works.
Connect systems that don't talk to each other — your CRM, accounting software, ERP, field management system, and operational tools. One source of truth, no duplicate data entry.
Give clients or suppliers a self-service interface connected directly to your back-end systems. Order status, invoice history, document uploads — without your team being in the middle of every query.
Web applications that work on site, on any device. Job completion sign-off, site inspection checklists, delivery confirmation — offline-capable when load-shedding takes out connectivity.
Move data from old systems to new ones cleanly — with validation, reconciliation, and a rollback plan. No "we'll sort out the data later" handovers that leave you with a corrupted history.
How it works
Fixed scope, iterative delivery. You see working software every two weeks.
We document your requirements, map your current workflow, and agree a fixed scope before writing a line of code. You get a written specification and a fixed price — no scope creep, no surprises.
Iterative development with a working demo every two weeks. You test it with your actual data and give feedback before the next sprint starts. No big reveal at the end of a months-long project.
Full handover including source code, documentation, deployment configuration, and a 30-day support period. You own the software completely and can take it anywhere.

We were running our entire job scheduling on a whiteboard and three spreadsheets. Six weeks later we had a web system — every job, every technician, every status visible in real time.

How much does custom software development cost in South Africa?
Custom software projects at Yuvati typically start from R45,000 for focused internal tools and small web applications, rising to R150,000–R400,000 for complex multi-user systems with integrations. We scope precisely and provide a fixed quote before any development begins — no open-ended retainers, no "we'll figure it out as we go."
How long does it take to build?
Simple internal tools and focused web apps typically take 4–8 weeks. More complex systems with multiple user roles, integrations, and workflows take 3–6 months. We use an iterative approach — you see working software every 2 weeks, not a big reveal at the end of a long project. You can test with your actual data and give feedback throughout.
Who owns the software once it's built?
You do. Yuvati transfers full ownership of the source code, documentation, and all associated assets at project completion. You're not locked in to Yuvati for ongoing development or hosting. The handover includes everything needed to take the software to any other developer — commented code, deployment guides, and data schemas.
What if we need changes after launch?
We offer a 30-day warranty period for defects at no charge. After that, changes can be scoped and quoted as new work, or we can agree a retained monthly development arrangement. The software is yours — you can also take it to any other developer if you prefer. We don't create dependencies that force you to stay.
Can you integrate with our existing accounting software?
Yes. We integrate with Sage Business Cloud, Sage Evolution, QuickBooks, Xero, Pastel, and most other South African accounting packages via their APIs or data exports. We also connect to CRMs, ERPs, and any system with a REST API or database access. We confirm all integration points on the first call before scoping.
Do you work with companies outside Cape Town?
Yes. While Yuvati is based in Cape Town, we work with SMEs across South Africa — Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, and beyond. All client engagement happens remotely via video call and collaborative tools. Geography has never been a constraint for any of our projects.
Let's find where you're losing money
The discovery call is free. We'll talk about what your current software is stopping you from doing — whether that's scaling, having visibility, or running your operations efficiently. Yuvati will give you an honest view of whether custom software is the right answer, and roughly what it would cost.
